October Student Interviews

Landin Pribnow

What is your favorite sport in school and why?

Answers: is wrestling due to the fact that I have to depend on myself to improve and don't need to feel like I'm letting a team down if I make a mistake.

What do you like about Boone Central?

Answers: I like that everyone has their own group and everyone can find friends easily.

What do you dislike about boone central?

Answers: I don't like how our pop machine has the worst selection in the world and our lunches are constantly repeating.

What would you like the school to change?

Answers: I'd like if the school would change a few drinks in the pop machines to something that would boost our energy like real pop because sometimes kids are tired and don't get home till late they truly need some of that energy. I also wish the PLC would allow us to get out 1 hour earlier on Friday.

What is your favorite class? Why?

Answers: American History not only because I love learning about history but also the teacher makes thing easy to understand and if needed additional help will simplify it more.

What is different from your freshman year?

Answers: I can say I found my true group of friends where I can actually be me and not need to impress anyone.

If you could give advice to any underclassmen what would it be?

Answer: No matter the sport you play, no matter your GPA, those people that have been your friends from the beginning are the ones to keep, don't change just because you think being popular will make you go farther. It won't, being a good person and staying true to who you are will take you more places then popularity ever will.

What is your favorite sport in school and why?

Answer: My favorite sport is wrestling. I may be a little biased because I am a wrestling cheerleader, but I think it's the most interesting and exciting sport.

What do you like about Boone Central?

Answer: I like that you can get to know people in your classes better because we are a smaller school.

What would you like the school to change?

Answer: I want BC to change the dark liquid/clear water bottle stuff. I really like pop and I would like to be able to drink it. I feel like if you sell non-clear liquids in our vending machine, we should be able to drink them in class or bring our own sodas.

What is your favorite class? Why?

Answer: My favorite class is pre-calculus with Mr. Hrabik. I like math but I hate not knowing what I'm doing, but in this class I understand and it's overall a really fun class for me.

What is different from your freshman year?

Answer: Freshman year we had the old school without the addition, so it was cool to see the school develop into what it is now.
If you could give advice to any underclassmen what would it be?

Answer: Always remember that what you say will be heard, because we have a small school, and word travels fast. Remember that what you say has consequences. Also, your business is your business, you don't have to share it and you don't have to get involved in others' unless it's necessary.
