Welcome to Boone Central Nutrition Department. The purpose of this website is to provide information to improve communication and cooperation throughout the District as we work to provide nutritious and eye appealing meals to students and staff.  If you need further assistance or have any dietary needs or allergies please call the office at 402-395-2134.(Ext.4)

BOONE CENTRAL NUTRITION SERVICES IS HIRING FOR 2018-19 

We are looking for part time and substitutes.

Join our Nutrition Staff Team:

  • Positions range from 4 to 8 hours per day.

  • The shifts can start at 6:00 AM and end before 2:30 PM, and still give you time to enjoy the rest of your day.

  • Food Handlers Permit is a plus.

  • Nutrition Service Employees who work more than 30 hours per week are eligible for Health Insurance.

  • Dress Code requires fully enclosed shoes and hair nets (provided)

Each Breakfast offers 4 Items:                                       

   2 oz. whole grain OR 

   1 oz. whole grain and 1 oz. protein

   1 serving of fruit, vegetable or 100% juice

   1 serving of low fat milk

Students must choose a minimum of 1/2 cup of fruit,

vegetable or 100% juice and 2 other food items.

Each School Lunch offers 5 meal components: Protein, 

Bread/Grains, Fruit, Vegetable and Milk. Students must

choose a minimum of 3 components including:

1/2 cup fruit or vegetable and at least 2 other components.
