What is Cardinal Kids Club (CKC)?
Cardinal Kids Club is an extended learning program that is designed to provide youth with high quality, hands-on, and engaging opportunities.
Hours of Operation
During the school year, our hours of operation are 3:30-5:30 pm and our program follows the Boone Central district calendar. During the summer program, our hours are 7:45 am - 4 pm, M-F.
How Did We Start?
Cardinal Kids Club started from a state-wide grant offered to us from the Nebraska Department of Education. We were just one of five communities in the state awarded this grant to help start an after-school program. The funding from this grant ended in the fall of 2019, which led us to seek more local contributions to help sustain the program. We are extremely thankful to have great local support from organizations right here in Boone County, as well as support from other organizations in Nebraska.

CKC Registration
The CKC After-School is now FULL! We are still accepting applications which will be directed to our waiting list. Registration for the summer of 2025 will begin in Early Spring. Please email ckc@boonecentral.esu7.org with any questions regarding registration.
