💳 Payments for Boone Central Hot Lunch

All Boone Central Hot Lunch balances can be viewed and managed online through our Family Lunch Portal.

How to Get Started

  • Create an account by visiting the Online Portal.

  • Families can apply for meal benefits, view purchase history, and add funds.

  • For security, you may be asked to enter a one-time Family Key.

  • To receive your Family Key, please email Mrs. Classen here. This key links your students to your family account.

💳 Payments for Boone Central Hot Lunch

  • Online deposits can be made anytime.

    • Please note: A 3% processing fee applies per transaction.

    • There is no minimum deposit amount.

  • Check or cash payments are accepted:

    • Make checks out to BOONE CENTRAL HOT LUNCH FUND

    • In the memo at a minimum include student’s first and last name and when possible, include family ID (Account ID).

    • For cash, seal it in an envelope with your include student’s first and last name and make sure it is delivered to your students building secretary. The school cannot be held liable for cash payments that are lost or not turned in by students

    • Deliver all physical payments to a building secretary. Payments received after 10 AM may be processed the next business day. If we are short staffed, physical payments (cash/check) may experience processing delays by up to a few business days. 

Important Notes

  • The balance shown is a family balance; all student transactions are deducted from this account.

  • The Hot Lunch program operates on a prepay basis. Accounts must maintain a positive balance.

  • Negative balances are subject to collection procedures as per board policy and food service discretion.

  • Graduating seniors must have lunch accounts paid in full to receive their diplomas, as this is part of their graduation checklist.

 

 

 

🎓 Seniors: Graduation Account Policy

Your lunch account must be paid in full before you can check out for graduation.

At the end of the school year, if you have a positive balance remaining, you’ll have two options:

  • Option 1: Donation
    You may choose to donate the remaining funds to support students in need at Boone Central.

  • Option 2: Refund
    We will mail a refund check to your parents for the remaining balance.

We will contact you and your family at the end of the year with details.

🏫 Withdrawn Students: Account Policy

As you prepare to check out, your lunch account balance will be reviewed.

  • To complete checkout, your account must have a zero or positive balance.

  • If you have a positive balance, you may choose to either donate it or receive a refund check, just like graduating seniors.

  • Please ensure your current mailing address is on file so we can send any refund checks promptly.

Important Notes: When processing refund checks, our business office policy is refund checks are processed before the 15th of each month and will roll into the following business month if submitted later. We will mail the refund check to the address listed in our system, if you are changing addresses please notify the business office as soon as possible.
