Meet the Superintendent

Boone Central Community:

Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year! I am excited to start this year with you as the Superintendent while focusing on making each day a success. As a new member to the team I would like to take this opportunity to briefly introduce myself. My wife and I grew up in Stockton, KS. I earned both my undergraduate and graduate degrees from Fort Hays State University. I began my teaching career in Kansas where I spent 11 years teaching Industrial Technology and coaching before becoming a middle school principal for six years. I then transitioned to a superintendent role in Crofton, NE, where I served the past six years. My wife, Melodie, is a Speech Language Pathologist at Boone County Health Center. We have one son, Cole, who is a sophomore this year and his dog Nitro. In my free time, I enjoy golfing, hunting, fishing, traveling with our family, and cheering on the Huskers! I’m looking forward to the school year and the opportunity to get to know everyone in the district and community. We are very excited for this opportunity and to be a part of the district and community!
