    High School and Middle School Parents and Students:

     

    Registration and Chromebook deployment for the 2023-24 school year will be held this year on Tuesday, August 1st from 1pm - 7pm and Wednesday, August 2nd from 9am - 3pm, at the high school commons area and new gym.  All students and a parent/guardian must attend.  School pictures for grades 5-12 will be taken during registration.  

    Packets with the necessary forms (Registration/Chromebook Deployment Packet) will be available for pick-up at the High School on (W-F) July 26-28 and Monday, July 31. If you are unable to pick up, the packet will be waiting for you on registration day and will not be mailed.

    Chromebook Deployment: All 5th-12th graders will receive a Chromebook. A $15 fee will need to be paid at this time if the student is taking their Chromebook home. 

    The following stations will be set up during registration on August 1 & 2: 

    • Registration Packet

      • Leave your completed Registration/Chromebook Deployment Packet with your school secretary.

      • Bring your completed school physical form.

    • Activity ticket. $40

      • 9-12th graders: involved in any sports, drama, speech, music, dance, or cheerleading, are required to buy an activity ticket.

      • 7-8th graders:  involved in sports & speech are required to buy an activity ticket.

      • 5-6th graders: optional

    • Lunch 

      • Please make a payment on your hot lunch account. Online payment (preferred), Check, Cash (in envelope w/ students name) 

      • Please note the price increase for school meals (see included form for more information).

      • We encourage everyone to fill out the free and reduced form that is included.

    • Chromebook

      • Bring your $15 if you are taking your Chromebook home.

      • If you are absent at registration, you will receive your chromebook the first day of school if all your paperwork is completed and fees are paid.

    • Health Screenings 

      • If you wear glasses or contacts, please bring them.

    • School Pictures

      • Bring the envelope and money for your school pics (Make checks payable to Rita’s   Photography).

    • Booster Button Pictures

      • Optional

    **Please bring separate checks for activity tickets, chromebook, hot lunch, school pictures (check to Rita’s Photography) and button pictures (check to BC Booster Club).  This is pertinent for bookkeeping and enables the registration process to run smoothly.

    Elementary School

     

    Elementary packets may be picked up July 26th-July 28th from 8am to 3pm.  

     

    One day only Elementary registration is on Thursday, August 3rd.  Please inform the school before August 1st if you cannot attend.  

     

     

     

     

     

     

    HOT LUNCH LETTER 2023-2024

     

    Welcome back to Boone Central Schools! Our Hot Lunch program cannot wait to serve your family this year. We have a few exciting things planned for this year and will plan to continue serving your student(s) our from scratch recipes. We are proud to still make our own breads, serve home cooked meals, and accommodate all diet needs of our students so they can be at their best in the classroom! 

    This year I would like to encourage EVERYONE to apply for free and reduced meals. Filling out the application regardless of approval or denial helps our school with grant funding.     All meals are on a prepaid basis, to assist with budget planning we have broken down our meal program below for paid status students. The cost of meals is as follows: Breakfast $1.90 Lunch - $3.40

    Remember: any additional servings regardless of Free/Reduced status are charged as al a carte and are due before checkout. (This includes the vending machine)

     

    Vending Machine lunch code limit is automatically set at $5.00 per day unless you edit it in your portal. Please discuss limits with your students and ensure they follow your house rules.
