      • Cereal Box Domino Challenge

IT'S TOPPLE TIME! Boone Central Elementary is teaming up with Boone Central Middle School in a challenge to collect the most cereal boxes. At the end of the collection week ALL the boxes will be assembled into a domino run for PreK-8 students to watch! At the conclusion of the event, all boxes will be delivered to our local food pantry for summer distribution. The Boone County Food Pantry has higher needs for cereal during the summer months when school isn't in session. Last year our PreK-5 students collected around 300 boxes.

      • Time to get your BETTY on at SADD's Betty White Ball

All Boone Central High School students are invited to the Betty White Ball on Saturday, January 22nd. When deciding on a theme, Gavin Stuhr thought a dance honoring the late Betty White would be fitting as our student body has a lot of love and respect for her work and career. We'll feast on her favorites of hot dogs, potato chips, and Twizzlers and give our best Betty White look-alikes prizes! The dance will be held in the BC Commons Area and will start at 8:30PM. All Boone Central and Newman Grove students and their dates are invited. There will be a $2 charge for each student and anyone entering will be breathalyzed. Betty always said, “I’m a teenager trapped in an old body," so we hope everyone will take advantage of their "youth" and come out to boogie with Betty on 1/22!
